Latest news:  Eagle House Surgery is working in partnership with Dorset HealthCare, Dorset County Hospital and SWAST to support improved access to GP services.  We are in the developmental phase at the moment and will be providing an improved access service in a staged approach which will commence in early 2018.

Appointments steth_pills_diary

The practice operates an appointment system for all its clinical staff, and bookings can be made on-line via our web site, in person at reception or over the telephone between 8am and 6.30pm. Although we do our very best to provide a flexible service, we regret it is not always possible to offer appointments at exactly the time of your choice.  Surgery times can be found in the practice timetable above.

Please remember one appointment is for one person.

When you attend for an appointment, please enquire at reception if you find yourself waiting longer than twenty minutes after your booked appointment time.  Sometimes, the doctors and nurses do overrun however, we would want to be sure your arrival has been recorded and that you are not forgotten.

Please note that if you are registered for online services you can book appointments on the internet via this website. To register for this service you will need to take identification with you to the surgery and ask for registration documents to be printed for you

Extended hours

To accommodate people who are working or who are unable to attend during our usual surgery times, each of our 5 GPs offers extended appointments I night per week after our usual latest appointment of 6.30. These appointments cannot be booked on-line but can be made in person or over the phone.

From time to time there may be doctors in training, medical students or nursing students in the practice.  Please let your doctor or the practice nurse know if you do not wish them to be present during your consultation. If your doctor is not available a locum doctor or one of the other partners may see you.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
